Contract Type: Fixed Term post until 08/09/2026 Workstyles :Your workstyle will be a mobile hybrid worker in this role which gives you the flexibility to work from home and from a variety of Council workplaces. We are currently looking for a fully qualified accounting technician or equivalent to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for $ú providing financial support to budget managers.
The main duties of the post are detailed on the Job description and Personnel Specification but include providing financial support and to ensure the delivery of effective financial services across designated service areas, including producing and analysing system reports and presenting that information to budget holders.
You will have experience in ; -budgeting, financial analysis and reporting, income recording, grant management, ledger maintenance and closure of accounts. -use of spreadsheets, word processing and general ledger packages. -producing and adapting system reports to provide meaningful information to non-financial officers -providing professional advice and support to service directorates and partnerships
About you; AAT or equivalent or currently studying AAT and experience of working for local government
