We have an exciting opportunity for a Housing Engagement Officer in the Housing & Community Team, within the General Environmental Health Service.
The post is part funded by Welsh Government for the primary purpose of preventing homelessness and supporting people to have the capability, independence, skills and confidence to access and/or maintain a stable and suitable home.
This post will enable the Council to positively improve access to good quality homes in the Private Rented sector to increase housing provision for homelessness.
Working within the Housing and Community Team, you will have the opportunity to undertake a range of challenging enforcement and preventative interventions that stem from the investigation of complaints regarding Private Rented Housing Standards.
