Hours: Full Time 37 hours per week
Location of post: Tir Morfa, Marine Drive, Sandfields, Port Talbot, SA12 7NN.
We are currently looking for an Additional Learning Needs Support Worker to join our team to help deliver an exciting new project funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, called Pathways 2 Progression. We are seeking an individual to start immediately and up until the project ends on 31/12/2024.
The successful candidate will be responsible for – The post holder will be required to manage a caseload of learners, some with additional learning needs, disabilities and health issues to support them to actively engage, participate and achieve a variety of courses/activities, qualifications and programmes offered by Skills & Training. The post holder will provide effective delivery of the programme that conforms to our contract requirements, ensuring high quality learning opportunities for our learners. The post holder will be required to work with specific groups and support the tutors within sessions with learners who require 1 to 1 support or similar. The post holder will have responsibility for creating and maintaining learner records needed for monitoring and claim purposes.
The post will demand a high degree of occupational experience working with learners who have additional learning needs and disabilities.

The post holder may be required to travel across South Wales and therefore will need a full, clean driving licence and access to own vehicle for the post.
