Hours: Average of 37hrs a week (seasonal)
Monday-Sunday (days and times may vary due to service needs) however core days will be Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

We are currently looking for a Catering Assistant to join our team. There is the opportunity to act up into a Cook’s role during the school holidays and whenever cover is needed.
The successful candidate will be required to provide catering services at Charlotte’s Pantry in Margam Park.
The main duties of the post;
Responsible for the organisation and supervision of staff to provide a quality service to customers.
Setting up of servery counter, preparation/service of food, ensuring good food presentation.
Correct operation of Cash tills, preparation of daily cash reconciliation and safe keeping of cash.
Washing up of crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils, ensuring good Health and Safety practices. Cleaning of tables and floors in the café and outside café eating area.
You will have experience of;
Working in a catering environment and be able to work as part of a team.
Experience of cash handling and use of hospitality equipment, such as tills, PDQ machines.
Knowledge of food hygiene and safe working practices, HACCAP, Allergies and nutrition.
Ideally you will have;
A Food Hygiene Level 3 qualification.
