Margam Crematorium requires a Crematorium Officer. The post is contracted to 36 hours Tuesday to Saturday. The hours are as follows:
Tuesday to Thursday is 9-5, Friday 9-4.30 and Saturday 9-4.
The role involves providing an efficient and respectful service to bereaved families. The post holder will also be required to complete the crematorium technicians training scheme (CTTS) and undertake cremations as required. The post holder will also need to work in an office environment and act as chapel attendant when required. The post holder will also be expected to work bank holidays.
