This role provides an exciting opportunity to use your skills to make a difference to the lives of the individuals we support. You will ensure that the living environment for individuals is maintained to a high standard and that our home is always clean, inviting and welcoming. If you are looking for a new challenge, have an interest in learning more about the care sector or already have a career in social care, this role could be for you.
You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained within our home. You will need excellent attention to detail, empathy and compassion, along with good communication and time management skills to join our team as a Domestic Assistant.
It is also important that our Domestic Assistants have a level of care and understanding for those we support, and are comfortable communicating with everyone who lives, works and visits the home.
You will carry out daily and weekly cleaning routines which include dusting, mopping, polishing, ironing and vacuuming.
It will be your responsibility to ensure that all communal areas such as dining rooms, lounges and lavatories are kept to a high standard and comply with infection control guidelines, whilst also being safe and comfortable for both the individuals we support and staff members.
You may also be required to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene standards in our resident&©s rooms, whilst making sure to respect the privacy and individual needs of everyone we support. As part of the role, you will ensure our inventory of cleaning and hygiene supplies are maintained.
