We are currently looking for a Mentor to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting participants and businesses. Within the role you will be liaising with participants, employers and colleagues in regard to employment, training and paid work opportunities. You will support your participants to ensure they are prepared to undertake suitable opportunities available to them by addressing any barriers they have.
The main duties of the post:
Develop and maintain joint working arrangements with partners and agencies to support your participant source employment / training.
Utilise a range of creative and innovative methods to engage with a wide range of economically inactive and unemployed participants. Undertake assessments to contribute to the development of action plans. Maintain accurate and up to date records to ensure eligibility and suitability of support is captured.
You will have experience in/of;
Experience of working with unemployed, economically inactive and those facing barriers to employment. Experience of recruitment procedures.
Ideally you will have.
Level 4 in Advice and Guidance, Mentoring or Counselling. Experience in online databases. Experience of managing a caseload and achieving KPI’s.
