About the role:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills and experience of working in a visitor attraction, to join our team as a Visitor Services Manager. Gnoll Country Park is currently undergoing transformational change, with £12M investment into new facilities and services including the restoration of heritage features, additional indoor and outdoor attractions, on site accommodation and plans to develop the venue further. This vacancy presents an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that can influence and manage this change, to achieve the ambition of becoming a destination attraction for visitors.
As a Visitor Services Manager you will support the Park Manager in the delivery of Gnoll Country Park's business plan and support in the management of the efficient daily running of the visitor facilities, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors to Gnoll Country Park.
Your daily routine will include ensuring that the park and facilities are safe, clean and ready for opening each day and securely closing the premises at the end of each working day. Being on hand to assist all park visitors, preparation and monitoring of rotas and staffing management across the venue, compliance with health and safety principles and legislation, and supporting the safe and efficient operation or catering premises and activities across the venue. The role offers plenty of variety and no day is the same. The Visitor Service Manager will play a crucial role in motivating staff and leading by example, supporting with operations and participating in rota patterns when required.
