Hours: Part Time 22.5 hours per week
Location of post: Tir Morfa, Marine Drive, Sandfields, Port Talbot, SA12 7NN.
We are currently looking for an Additional Learning Needs Support Training Advisor to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for – managing a caseload of learners, some with additional learning needs, disabilities and health issues to support them to actively engage, participate and achieve a variety of courses/activities, qualifications and programmes offered by Skills & Training. The post holder will provide effective delivery of the programme that conforms to our contract requirements, ensuring high quality learning opportunities for our learners. The post holder will be required to work with specific groups and support the tutors within sessions with learners who require 1 to 1 support or similar. The post holder will have responsibility for creating and maintaining learner records needed for monitoring and claim purposes.
The post will demand a high degree of occupational experience working with learners who have additional learning needs and disabilities.
