We are currently looking for an Assistant Risk and Information Governance Officer to join our team.

Reporting to the Risk and Information Governance Manager, the post holder will support the development and implementation of the Risk and Information Governance Strategy and Framework to ensure compliance across the Council.
Engaging with teams from across the Council, fostering strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, the Assistant Risk and Information Governance Officer will support them with the critical consideration of Risk and Information Governance in all aspects of their work.
Ideally candidates will have experience in the following areas:

Ideally you will be;
Be educated to HNC level or possess equivalent occupational experience.
Have formal qualifications in Digital Services, IT Service Management and/or business management e.g. Agile, ITIL, Prince2.
This role forms part of the Information Governance career pathway linked to the DDaT structure within Digital Services. The successful application will be supported in their development with relevant training and qualifications and the potential to develop along the career pathway to Risk and Information Governance Officer.
