About the role:
This is an exciting time to work within the newly established Leisure, Tourism, Heritage and Culture Department within Neath Port Talbot Council. As a result of the creation of the new Neath Port Talbot Culture Strategy there is a renewed focus on investing in heritage, culture, tourism and the creative arts alongside our partners and stakeholders in the area.
We are currently seeking an experienced arts development professional to join our team in the post of Arts Development Manager. The role is part funded by NPTCBC, Arts Council Wales and the UK Government's Shared Prosperity Fund.
The postholder will take a strategic lead on ensuring that the arts are available to all within Neath Port Talbot. This will be achieved by working in partnership with local and national organisations to promote creative cohesion in communities through co-planned and co-funded programmes and strategies.
