We are currently looking for an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic Corporate Policy Officer (Equalities and Welsh Language) to join our team.
As part of the team, you will be involved in all aspects of the council’s corporate equality and Welsh language policies, their development and implementation, helping support elected members and senior officers as well as coordinating meetings of various officer groups.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working with Elected Members, senior officers and staff from both within the council and partner organisations to support the council in achieving strategic objectives and meeting its statutory duties in relation to Equalities and Welsh language - including interpreting and advising on key legislation.

Welsh language skills are essential for this post - fluent in speaking, reading and writing. If your language skills are a little rusty, we can provide support on appointment for you to reach this level.
