We are currently looking for an Employer Liaison Officer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting participants by sourcing relevant training, paid work opportunities and employment opportunities to meet the participant need. You will build and maintain effective relationships with employers, partners, training providers and colleagues to support the participant progress towards their goal.
The main duties of the post;
Develop and maintain joint working arrangements with companies, professionals and agencies to ensure the successful implementation of employment programmes.
Offer varied business advice and refer businesses for funding and support etc. Must have knowledge of the wider business support offering.
Community Engagement: undertake a range of creative and innovative methods to engage with a wide range of unemployed participants. Instigate and maintain a community presence.
Provide comprehensive recruitment support to local businesses.
You will have experience in/of;
Experience of working with unemployed, economically inactive and those facing barriers to employment. Experience of recruitment procedures. Undertaking health and safety risk assessments.
Ideally you will have;
Level Four Qualification in Mentoring, Counselling or Adult Guidance or equivalent.
