Location of post: Pontardawe Arts Centre, Herbert Street, Pontardawe, Swansea SA8 4ED
We are currently looking for a Technician to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for – the technical requirements for the programme at Pontardawe Arts Centre and to contribute to the general operation of the venue
The main duties of the post;
You will have experience in/of;
Significant experience of working in a presenting venue or in a technical role with a touring company
working in a multi-tasking environment
Practical knowledge of a technical theatre environment with expertise in one or more of following: stage management, lighting, sound, cinema operation
Thorough understanding of current Health and Safety legislation
working at height
Ideally you will have;
4 GCE/GCSEs (Grades A-C) or equivalent, which should include English Language.
Recognised technical qualifications
PAT testing qualifications
