The Benefits Team is looking to recruit an experienced Benefits Officer/Team Leader to supervise the Neath/Port Talbot Benefits Team on a daily basis, in the delivery of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support claims.
Potential applicants should possess an excellent knowledge of the benefit system, experience of working in a busy environment, and possess 4 GCSE’s at Grade C or above, or equivalent qualifications.
Applicants will be expected to deal with (and provide guidance on) complex cases, maintain detailed and accurate records, whilst also responding to customer enquiries by telephone, email, letter, and face to face contact.

Ideally you are required to have:
Minimum of 4 GCSEs grades C or above, or equivalent qualifications.
IRRV qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
