An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right person to join Neath Port Talbot Youth Justice Service as a Senior Practitioner. We are a multi-agency team committed to preventing and reducing youth crime across the county of Neath Port Talbot. Aligned with Children’s Services, the Youth Justice Service works closely with area-based teams and other key partner agencies to safeguard and prevent the exploitation of young people.
This role provides the opportunity to work with a skilled, motivated and dedicated workforce, who are passionate about improving outcomes for children, families and victims of crime and working according to the Child First principles. As a valued member of the service, you will have a key role in supporting continued improvements to practice, contributing to the setting and delivery of strategic priorities, and ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of services.
You are the right person for this role if you:
The post requires a Degree in Social Work or equivalent e.g. DipSW, CQSW and you must be registered with Social Care Wales.
