To deliver the change required, we’ve reset the entire Digital Services staffing structure, aligning to the DDaT profession capability framework, ensuring we have modern and fit for purpose job descriptions focusing on the rights skills and abilities.
The role
Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Governance, the post holder will be responsible for developing and implementing the Risk and Information Governance Strategy and Framework to ensure compliance across the Council.
The post holder will be engaging with teams from across the Council, fostering strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, supporting them with the critical consideration of Risk and Information Governance in all aspects of their work.

Experience and education
Candidates must be educated to Degree level or possess equivalent occupational experience; hold a GDPR Practitioner qualification or equivalent experience in Information Governance; and hold a formal qualification in Digital Services e.g. IT Service Management and/or business management e.g. Agile, ITIL, Prince2.
