The South Wales Trunk Road Agent (SWTRA) is responsible for managing, maintaining and improving the strategic road network in South Wales on behalf of the Welsh Government.
Location: South Wales Traffic Management Centre, M4 Junction 32 Coryton, Cardiff CF14 7EF – Hybrid Working
We are currently seeking a suitably qualified individual to join our Network Occupancy Team to undertake the role of Technical Administrator.
This is a multi-disciplined position to assist the Street Works Manager in ensuring the effective and efficient day-to-day operation of the systems and processes to enable the effective management and coordination of road space applications plus support for internal noticing procedures and abnormal load route requests. Additionally, provide technical administrative support to the Network Operations and Network Resilience teams in the management of network operations.
The post holder will make extensive use of industry standard IT systems and be experienced in their use. Previous experience in and knowledge of highway standards and legislation would be an advantage.
An ONC or equivalent level qualification is an essential requirement of the post.
The post holder will also be required to possess a full UK car driving licence.
Welsh Language skills are not necessary
