Salary: £19,650 - £21,269 per annum pro rata
plus 1/3 enhancement payable between 8pm and 7am
Trem y Mor Respite and Interim Care Service, Scarlett Avenue, Port Talbot, SA12 7PH
You will provide a high standard of care and support to service users by night, under the direction of the Night Care Officer. As a supportive team member you will demonstrate a positive work ethic ensuring the comfort, and safety of the service users. You will be expected to efficiently carry out both domestic and laundry duties, as well as maintaining the security of Trem Y Mor at all times.
You must have experience of working within a Residential / Care setting supporting individuals with a variety of support needs to include challenging behaviour/ autism/ complex health /severe learning disability. The successful candidate will be expected to complete all mandatory training for the role. An NVQ level two in Care is required for the role or an expectancy to complete within 3 years of commencement.
A requirement to register with Social Care Wales is essential.
