This is an exciting time to be joining the Digital Services Division as we’re working to transform the Neath Port Talbot experience for all our citizens, businesses, staff and visitors through the best use of Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT).
To deliver the change required, we’ve reset the entire Digital Services staffing structure, aligning to the DDaT profession capability framework, ensuring we have modern and fit for purpose job descriptions focusing on the rights skills and abilities.
The role
As a developer you’ll design, build, iterate, support, and implement digital services, products and platforms across the Council.
With an understanding of the end-to-end process from a technical perspective, you will work closely with the Senior Developers, delivering software within multi-disciplinary teams using Agile delivery methodologies, providing digital solutions that meet user needs.

Experience and education
Candidates must be educated to HNC or possess equivalent occupational experience, and hold a formal qualification in Digital Services e.g. IT Service Management and/or business management e.g. Agile, ITIL, Prince2.
