We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate who is keen to start their career within the Building Services team of Neath Port Talbot Council. This vacancy is based at Tregelles Court, Neath Abbey
This is a full time, 37 hours per week position. Temporary initially for a three year fixed term contract.
The Building Services team delivers a range of different projects across our borough, working on projects from initial concept through to construction and operation, fulfilling diverse design, project management, stakeholder engagement, business innovation as well as technical and site assurance roles. Our graduates pursue excellence in delivery of projects, continually seeking out innovation, so we will expect you to engage, participate and excel in our creative design culture.
With our support we will develop your skills and help you reach your full potential. As your training progresses, you will understand designing of projects, liaising with specialist contractors, development of service specifications, preparation of reports, service and project management and will be involved with the solving of technical problems.
The position is ideally suited for candidates who are educated to a minimum of Degree level Class II, Division II (or equivalent) in Building or construction relevant degree; and who are able to demonstrate the requirements specified in the Job Description and Person Specification
