We are currently looking for a Drainage Asset Technician to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible to contribute to fulfilling the Council’s requirements under the Flood and Water Management Act and Flood Risk Regulations, and to carry out asset inspections and related work in accordance with the relevant requirements.
The main duties of the post;
Investigate drainage problems and assist with site surveys.

You will have experience in;
Relevant experience in Drainage Systems and maintenance including dealing with flooding.
Experience in undertaking visual asset inspections of drainage and flood risk management infrastructure.
Knowledge of Flood and Water Management Act and Flood Risk Regulations.
An understanding of the Code of Practice for Highway Maintenance Management in relation to drainage
Undertake visual asset inspection and create asset registers
Ideally it is desirable that you have ONC – Civil Engineering and T98 Asset Inspection Accreditation.
